I'v got a pipe with a built in screen, and the resin is just clogging it up. The screen doesn't come out and the spaces are too small to push anything through. I tried boiling it already but it didn't do much, actually seemed to make it harder. EDIT: It's pretty small, only about half the length of a BIC lighter. The resin is literally making it airtight except for a few spots.
How large is it? If its small enough put it in a plastic baggie with some 91% alcohol and salt and shake that shit up. If its too big you can just try to soak it in alcohol or you can buy cleaner for pipes that will work better for soaking.
