How to clean my Bubbler?

Discussion in 'Bongs, Dab Rigs, Bubblers, Water Pipes' started by DatLoud, Nov 18, 2014.

  1. So i bought this bubbler for 40$ at my local smoke shop, the only downside is that it gets super dirty after a few smoke sessions and its my first glass piece so i honestly dont know how to clean it or where to start. If someone could tell me the best ways to clean it it would be very appreciated.

  2. Run under hot tap water to get out the easy stuff.  Then get a bottle of isopropyl, higher % = less work for you.  Dump a little in and shake it for a few mins.  You can let is soak in the iso as well.  If your piece is really dirty I recommend throwing some salt in, coarse salt works better.  Shake until clean then give a thorough rinse, enjoy.

To save some money you can reuse the iso many times over, just make sure its in a sealed container or it will evaporate.

Iso can be found in the first aid section of many pharmacies.

  3. Can't really see you bubbler but damn that's some nice bud.  $40 seems reasonable for a worked bubbler.

  4. Wow that is a great price for that piece. Good find!

  5. Thanks man i think that nug was 3.1g it was dense as shit and it was some fire. As for the piece, im thinking i scored a great deal and i unintentionally bought it at the vape shop which ia suprising

My preffered method is hot water and sodium percarbonate. A little goes a long way and with just hot water fresh off the boil you'll get massive foaming and disinfecting leaving you with crystal clear sterilized glass and no work like shaking so it's safer. No risk dropping wet glass from shaking.

In a pinch you can use oxiclean as it's 50% sodium percarbonate, preferably you should use the free and clear oxiclean so there's no dyes or perfumes.

  7. That would be a cool little oil rig
