Pretty soon I am going to transplant my little guys. there in plastic cups and i have fox farm ocean forest to transplant them to..but right now there in some organic potting soil... got some 3 gal pots for them and i was wondering whats the best way to transplant them into their final home....and is 3 gal good or should i go bigger?
3 gal should be good, I use 5 gallon home depot buckets with holes drilled in the bottom and I wrap the buckets in foil tape to make them light proof. Here you go about the transplanting. How can I transplant my plant into a bigger pot? - 420 Magazine Hope this helps! ~Samatha
ok so basically loosen up the soil around the cup, flip it over, and put the plant with the soil around it in the new soil with bigger pot....kinda confused still but will manage. it said in the article: "Note: If you are using a soil mix with organic ferts it MUST be prepared at least 7-10 days before using it (the time needed for the micro fauna and flora to develop). Of course, if you just mix plain potting soil (pre-fertilized) with neutral additives like perlite, this is less important." so if there in organic potting soil right now and im going to put them in FFOF i have to setup the 3 gal with FFOF 7-10 prior? does this pertain to FFOF?
