Sorry if this is a stupid question but how long can you keep weed for?

Sometimes I get really fresh weed and have to pretty much cure it myself, then othertimes its so dried that it almost turns to dust in the grinder.

So lets say, assuming the weed it pretty new when you buy it, how long would you keep it for?

  2. a while. if it gets dry put a fruit peel in its container for a bit

  3. Just be careful of mold. It can last forever if properly stored.

If left for a while it will just dry out maybe even loose some potency(barely noticeable, unless it's bad shit). Just check for mold and you're good.

  4. for ever , in kilner jars sealed  after a proper dry and cure

  5. It can last as long as u want it to. Obviously itll depend on the method of storage.

  6. If I have g of high grade it will last me 1-2 days.

  7. Like the other guy said, keep it from molding and you'll be fine. You don't want to smoke some mold.

  8. It lasts years if properly stored

Old weed is a bit harsher because it's very dry, but that's about it.

From the "Storage of Cannabis" section of "Granny Storm Crow's List"

The stability of cannabis and its preparations on storage.      (abst – 1976)

"It is concluded that carefully prepared herbal or resin cannabis or extracts are reasonably stable for 1 to 2 years if stored in the dark at room temperature."

You need to keep your cured (or, at least, well dried) cannabis in a sealed air-tight container, in a cool, dry and dark place for optimal preservation of the THC content!
