I do not think the US would go to war with Saudi Arabia, mainly because SA has so much money tied up in the US, if it were to leave, the US economy would take quite a hit. Since the US has little money, it would be disastrous. The US is strong because it lives off of good faith, once that good faith is ended, it has no economy.
Just thinking about how long this war is going to go on makes me so fucking angry. The whole administration is fucked, there is no way they can get out of this fucking hole the dug. There is just no fucking way, these fuckers are only pro-choice, so they can have that baby they "saved" grow up to be a dead fucking soldier. But really are they saving them from anything. Because of assholes like the ones that run this fine country, humanity is fucked. Something that makes me even more pissed than the war, are republicans that still support Bush and his posse of evil tyrants. Namely Dick Cheney and Karl Rove. This administration thinks that we are winning the war, but in reality we are losing. I am flabbergasted that there are still people that believe 9/11 was a act of terrorism, they left a trail that is 10 miles wide and 100 miles long. There is so much evidence to back that shit up too, people need to realize how much danger these assholes are putting the world in. Bush doesn't even fucking run the country, (not that I support that stupid fuck in the first place...)

Like Korea: Jet/heli pilot training camp/moutianous frozen terrain training. The Nam; (my policeing days) More pilot training and intence heat in mountianous Jungle regions. You're not ready, I can tell you that, you still have alot of growing up to do. I was the same way, same thoughts same everything. War is alot more than you think it is, it's not easy. You can't run forever, theres bugs, and sometimes the smell is downright nasty. You need to be focused every second, you don't get alot of sleep, and not to mention while it's 100 degrees out, you have 90lbs on your back. If you do go, let me tell you, get your shit ready.
Wow. Let me fill you in man on what you need to hear. Take it from me, a guy whos done both the Iraq war as a soldier and I just finished a year in Afghanistan as a private security contractor. You may feel strongly about wanting to go there and fight but realize thats not what you'll be doing 95% of the time. Most time as a soldier you'll be driving around dodging IED's and being frustrated as hell you cant do anything about it because the politicians took all the fight away. Remember were not being pro-active over there we're completely reactive and it sucks. Also you'll have no chance to get on a Security Contract with ANY company let alone Black Water without some kind of military service. Even with that said you'll need at a minimum 5 years of infantry training in an airborne unit. Even that doesnt guarantee you anything. Its not a joke over there man, and what ever's got you feeling depressed or angry enough to just throw caution into the wind and say "fuck it", take a deep breath and rethink your priorities. I have to go eat before my wife kills me but I'll check back in a min and post more.

Sure. I'll give you an example of what happens MANY times daily on the roads in Iraq and Afghanistan from someone (me) whos been through it: You set out on a patrol at 0530 and plan to just do a route recon for a convoy whos expected to use that route later in the day. At about 0630 your lead vehicle disapears in a cloud of smoke and a teeth rattleing explosion. You cant see anything untill the smoke clears and so you do as they taught you. You and the rest of the vehicles in your convoy throw your trucks into reverse and clear the "danger area" in fear of any secondary explosions. Meanwhile thoughts are racing through your head about whos hurt and how badly because more than likely you have a close friend who was travelling in the lead vehicle. All the while the convoy commander is trying like mad to make "coms" (radio communication) with the lead trucks commander. Sometimes this isnt possible though, the radio may have been dammaged or perhaps everyone in the vehicle is unconcious/or dead. You wont know that though unless someone from that vehicle crawls out and gives a thumbs up or thumbs down. So after you've called in a medevac and called EOD in to clear the area (which could take anywhere up to 2 hours or more depending on where you are) you beging to try and make sense of the situation. Some trucks may go and ask a few homes in the area if they saw anything that day or the night before. You know, anything suspicious like...oh I dont know, like anyone planting a bomb in the ground? 9 times out of 10 heres the response you get; "What bomb"? You just want to scream at these people (and sometimes you do) "The bomb that just shattered your fucking windows and cracked the wall on your mud house MORON". They could be bleeding from their fucking ears and deny ever hearing a bomb. So yet again you are a complete IED sponge and cant do anything about it. Some times though you actually get to catch someone digging up the side of the road and get to arrest or shoot that person. Unfortunately, most times that person was paid 5 bucks to go and pre-dig that hole by the insurgents who will come later on and drop the IED in and roll away in less than 30 seconds. There is no war right now. Its a joke. Its another Kosovo police mission except in a much more dangerous country. War means being proactive, searching and destroying the enemy. Were not doing that nearly enough for me to consider this a war so I wish they would remove that lable and call it what it is. A complete military blunder made by people who had no business calling the shots on a military operation. Thats all I got.
my brothers in iraq, and hes comin home sometime this month. im glad hes out, and i hope the next person in office gets everyone else out too. americas war on terror might end soon, and i hope it does. bullets from a civilized country cant stop bullets from terrorists or corrupt governments. unfortunatly, people will always fight each other. i wouldnt wanna be in in any form of government for any country. our government has done as many terrible things as iraq has, hasnt it? slavery was once legal, people are on the streets starving, and we are puttin billions of dollars into other countries like iraq. the leaders of america let gas companies rip of the people they are supposed to lead. america gave osama bin ladin funds to take out russian soldiers during the cold war, knowing that bin ladin was a leader of a group that revolved around crime and murder. i think anyone who would join the military during this day and age is a fool, i even called my brother a dumbass for joining the military. thank god for all the people who sign up to defend the people they love, but the government has more on its mind than defending its people, and they would sacrifice the lives of there own people to get what they want. strap an m16 in bush and chenys hands, and see if they would do anything but run and hide.
