  1. So I've just made my own grow box, I've got a cupboard that's 180h x 800w x 500d. One 4inch exhaust fan that's rated at 130cfm with a filteroo carbon filter. I have a cheap booster to pump fresh air in separately. I'm also using a fan speed controller for air intake and would like to know if I want it slower than my exhaust. I'm using a 300w greenfingers led (actual 116w) which I'd like to upgrade to mars 600 or viparspectra 450w as I'm not too sure on it. Also I'll mention the fans are in the 60l container on top of the cupboard if anyone is wondering. Any help would be much appreciated :) thanks IMG_20190504_123013.jpg IMG_20190504_122747.jpg IMG_20190504_123013.jpg IMG_20190504_122747.jpg

Honestly I think that setup will work well if you can keep the temperature and humidity. Hopefully not too much light will escape, if it does you can apply reflective tape och reflective mylar to the walls. Needles to say, it would be easier controlling the environment with a tent :)

  3. That's great to hear :) I left it on all day and it sat at around 50 percent humidity and 24-27 degrees. I'll add that there is the slightest amount of light escaping at the bottom but should be an easy fix. I'm also waiting on some small usb powered fans to put in there. Thanks

  4. You may have a problem with height.

  6. I wonder if the humidity will loosen the duct tape?

I get better cooling with passive air intake (no intake fan)
If you use an intake fan you will want it to be less than your exhaust this way you maintain a negative pressure
