Hi guys, first time grower here. I was just wondering what your advice is for how far away I should keep my 180w 6400K CFL Light from my seedling, it's currently a day old and I have it about 5 inches away. I know this question has been asked many times over but there seems to be sooo many varying opinions on the matter, some people say 1", some say that is insane and will kill the plant, some say 6" and some say that is insane and will kill the plant/make it stretch like mad.. What would you guys advise me to do? It's a single light, 180w. Thanks!
5 inches is fine, if the plant gets too tall and looks flimsy put it closer, but with that wattage i doubt it. Ive got a 125w and it gets a little hot even with the fan on it.
