How do i know when my 400 watt bulb is done. ( its the veg one )?

    Does the bulb stop working after a while, or get dim or something?

    I have replacements for the bloom cycle. None left for the veg.

    The bulb is becoming inconsistent with it's start up.

    I keep hearing 6 months and they lose Lumins/yield after that... I think that's what I'm going to go by since it is a main component to growing

    I'd just be careful using an old worn bulb for fear of having a catastrophic failure.

    iv seen people change them after 2 grows but imo i think that's a bit stupid in i think about every 6-9 month depending how long you have had it on for cos if its only been on 12/12 all that time it will last longer than if you had it on 24/7 or 18/6

    Thanks guys. I'll give it 2 more weeks then I'll toss it. It's been over 2 grows. I'll buy another during the flowering cycle. I have a brand new flowering bulb anyway.
