How do i create a light blocker for my fan?

build a shadow box with the appropriate filter (oder control on exhaust, 3m filter on intake)...i just use cardboard and coat it with duct tape.

 

You need to make a light trap.

Either the shadow box idea that waterlotus suggested or have the fan exhaust into a pipe that has two bends in it, either "C" shape or "S" shape, and spray paint the inside of that pipe flat black.

 

ya all you need to do is create a 90 degree bend on your intake and exaust. As long as light cant go around corners and air can, its quit simple.

 

yea i couldnt figure that out for a while iether but try useing small pvc pipes
