Hey ya'll I came across a 24 volt transformer and a 24 volt switching relay from a heating furnace that I want to connect a thermostat and an 115 volt exhaust fan to that will be used vent hot air. The problem is I dont know how to hook it all up I have a battery operated honeywell thermostat its on board relay can trigger up to 30vdc but the manual says to also have a 24v transformer as well as a 24v relay. Need to know what connects first the relay or transformer and how the wires need to be connected can anyone help I'm an idiot so please make your answers plain.
