How do i clean a wood pipe?

  1. Im using a wooden "tobacco" pipe to smoke weed. works great, havent had to clean it since first use, but then yesterday i was smoking with my buddy and i realized there was a huge resin ball in the stem of the pipe.

I know there is a peice cleaning tutorial, but that dosent cover wood pipes.
    Any1 have some advice? :)

  2. Get yourself a paper clip, straighten all the bends except for one(this gives you a decent handle) and start scraping. For a wood pipe stay away from using iso or other cleaning products as they can damage wood and don't dry out to well.

  3. since its absorbant.. no alcohol..

    warmwater + epson salts.

  4. Hmmmm.... you might try warming it - holding in your hands or soaking under a hot wet cloth, then manually scraping it out. Use saran wrap or gloves and rub in the rest maybe?

I dunno.. maybe read about how pipe tobacco folks do it?

  5. or use those pipe cleaners they sell at head shops
