How do decrease & increase humidity? Urgent

    What is the best available approach to decrease & increase humidity?
    My humidity is approximately 20-30% however I desire to increase the humidity to 50-70% for the veg stage.
    additionally I had been wondering if the humidity was too low or too high, what are the aftereffects?

    put a cup of water in your grow room preferrably very hot steaming water
