what up schmoker, a good way to tell if your seeds are good is if you take the seed place it on a hard surface and press on it with the tip of your thumb, seeds that break are bad, and seeds that seem sturdy and dont break are good, you dont have to press too hard just to get a feel of how hard the seed is, also visually if the seeds are round and have no visible cracks youve pretty much got a winner.
dont smash em...cuz then u KNOW they are no good put them into a glass of water. bad ones will either forever float or sink immediately. good ones float for about 14 hrs or so and then gently fall to the bottom of the glass of water. but then u have to plant them after cuz u just activated the seeds gl
