im a big stephen king fan, but he is a shitty fucking director. i mentioned movies based on his books, the shining, pet sematary, carrie, etc. just finished reading IT a few months ago. really REALLY good book. shits all over the movie. tim curry ruled tho.
just watched evil dead...whoa. i'm pretty fuckin critical of horror movies, but this shit was scary! haven't felt like that since i was 10. had to have my husband escort me to pee. lol. anybody go and watch the conjuring???
The remake of Maniac has Elijah Wood haha seems odd https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uD02QssnO7w Doubt it will be any better than the original but I want to see this at some point.
it would never be better than the original even if it was good, the original is just too depraved. movies just dont come out like that now. frank fuckin zito. also guys,. my life has changed a lot since my first post/. i no longer collect DVDs. strictly VHS. heres an update on my horror collection,
me and my girl have a big horror collection. we have a big movie collection in general mostly horror and comedy. hope to watch vhs and pitch black soon.
ive also started to buy vhs's since no one really wants them any more i can find about 8 really good vhs for the price of one good dvd. also kinda dig the gritty quality when it comes to 70/80s horror
never seen vhs before but one day i will watch both vhs movies. haven't seen pitch black since i was in high school. it's like a sci-fi horror action film.
first horror movies that really freaked me out as a kid were Hellraiser, Creepshow, Children of the Corn, and the Shining Later on I realized Creepshow was as funny as it was scary Havent watched too many horror movies lately at the theater but I did rent some from the library recently, Splinter (2008) and Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979). I enjoyed both of them.
