Hi, We have planned for a one week trip but worried about home security since all our personal belongings will be left in our home. We currently do not have any home security systems. I am searching for a home security system, but honestly, I don't know to select a good security system. Could anyone offer any suggestions or advice on these systems? There are so many sites and so much informative like ( Residential & Commercial Security Company Canada | a.p.i. Alarm Inc. ). My brain is overloaded right now. Do you guys have any recommendations for a good security system?
It depends on what you are looking for most, video monitoring, automated door locks, motion detection etc...some places offer services through your local cable company. What region are you in? I currently have 3 Dropcam units with 1 Nestcam. They work well for video monitoring and I get alerts when motion or sound is detected.
