I live in North Texas and we have hot summers.... We regularly have high temps between 95 and 104 from june to august. Here's my situation. I just started an auto 2 weeks ago. (I'm starting her indoors) This means she will finish in late June or a little later. The last 4-6 weeks of the plant's life will be outdoors in the HEAT of summer and I want to keep my plant from burning up to death from the heat....so, I have two questions concerning high temps. 1- Is there a temp at which a cannabis plant will die? 2- What can I do to prevent heat damage? I've read about adding a silicate supplement to reduce heat stress... Have you heard of any other things I can do? Thanks Peace
OontDionte have it in the sun all day. When I'm hot a fan cools me down so maybe try a fan. I'm going to have the same problem. In az it get 110 easy during the summer. Good luck.
Regular watering and perhaps moving them into a shaded area will help, but don't forget that Marijuana plants are extremely resilient and are grown in many very hot climates around the world and do just fine.
1 - It is not temp at which cannabis dying 2 - Often watering / every second day 2.2 Pots > 30% of water on 100% pot / Ground > 10-15L per plant
