Hermie? Premature browning of pistols?

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by djacob, Nov 15, 2013.

  1. Okay, so today I noticed browning if my pistols.. I'm currently running into week 4 of flowering. Instantly thought they had been pollinated.. Checked over all my plants and sure enough.. Balls. But these balls were weird, none had been opened, and there were only a few.. 1 had pistols coming out of them, and it looked as if it was a calyx.. And all the "balls" were singular.. No clusters.

    So, questions:
    1) is this a hermie?
    2) are all my plants pollinated?
    3) if they are pollinated, what can I do about it?
    4) should I harvest and make hash?

  2. Hermie cut your losses and pull

  3. The problem is that other plants are developing brown pistols.. So is it too late for all of them?

  4. Chop Chop, get some new ones started.

  5. I have personal experience with this. What I would try to do is if all plants are pollinated then just pull the hermie and let the others grow. At least thT way they might put some weight on and you will have more for butter or oil. Dont get your expectations up too high tho.

  6. I'm about to just cut them all and regrow.. This is depressing.

  7. So make hash. How stupid to go that far and quit.
