alright so im startin a new grow in a closet. my plan for exhaust is to have a hole in the top of the closet door with an 8inch inline fan mounted next to it (pushing air out) which is hooked up to a dryer hose taking the hot air away from my 400 hps. Theres also a bunch of smaller holes in the bottom of the door for intake. do you think this would provide aduequete air circulation/cooling? When i get into the flowering phase Im going to put a carbon filter in. BTW my closet dimensions are about 4.5'l x 3.5'w x 7.5'h
lol, yes its adequate. my growing room is just about the same size as yours... mines 2.5 x 4.5 by 8.. I need to do the venitlation thing.. where did u get the fan to circulate the air out.. ive already spent 850 on my setup and dont wanna spend much more... sumthing preferably cheap... thanks.
I bought a suncourt inline duct fan (actually now that i think about it, its a 6inch) http://www.suncourt.com/2speeds.html. I also bought a hose to hook the fan up to my light. I think the fan cost me like 30-40 $, and it works pretty well
