Hempy Bottom fed Quantum Grow

  1. 4 weeks to go!

Oh ya bro you shouldn't have anything to worry about and if you do shouldn't be the lights that was the problem. I'm on my current second run with them especially combining quantum boards together with cobs and their fantastic.

Look up T-bone that guy will tell you straight up he was right the Colas start with decent seeds or clone Genetics and dont mess up and you should notice dense fat nugs that weight alot.

  2. Looking real nice bro. Hope mine look anything close to that in two weeks!

How often do you defoliate and how much? Mine are so bushy even though I take fans off twice a week since flipping.

  3. Ty. How much? Around the 3rd wk is when I been defo never to take too much off at once and making sure obviously it's not done in the middle of something else going on health wise. Once everything is dialed in and going good are usually defoliate in a least a few different sessions and sometimes have cut quite a bit. Strain sometimes can be affected but on my last run which was my best ever I defoliated more than I ever did. Definitely light access to those colas makes a huge difference. And when you're like me and have a quantum board and the PPFD hits those defoliated Colas watch out.

I think I'm going into day 36 on the 12.

  4. Day 39on the 12

Trying not to stall on final approach to landing.

Please fasten all seatbelts and put up tray tables to their upright positions minus the Skymall Magazine of course.

  5. #4 front left is has been giving me problems for awhile now. Everything I see points towards deficiency of Potassium or Calcium. This looks different than calcium and I've had calcium before but anybody that sees this tell me what you think my soup mix is.

    Canna A & B
25-30ml equal parts per 5 gallons. (Low)

Calmag 10 ml per 5 gal

Budcandy 10 ml per 5 gal

    Total ppm is about 600
    PH is 6.0

Seems kind of low for this stage of flowery I just take number four is more hungry. The burning was on the serrated edges not on the Tips with light green attributes. Also some leaves below that looked limp everything points towards deficiency considering the soup mix.

  6. Hey sicko looking good mate, slight burn maybe? Have you checked the ppms of your runoff?? If not maybe to low on the cal/mag? I just switched to r/o and have been adding 15ml cal/mag+ per 20L of r/o water to get my base of 0.3ec....plants are loving it

  7. Ty. Ya calmag defo for me always looked different but i think the tacoing of the leaves and all other variables adds up to a heat/light intensity low humidity with fan blowing causing the issue. Calmag was definitely a issue too. I raised my Rig so hopefully im right. I was running real low nutes especially for that stage.

  8. Hey sicko , im curious about those buckets you have... never seen them here in Australia. Do they bottom feed only?? How do you tell how much volume your giving each plant ect?

  9. Well sir, they are normal 3 gal buckets modified for a drain and pvc tube for bottem feeding. It's basically I think a common parts then put together it's just one of many versions of hempy. The feeding is about once a day these are the smallest I have ever grown my last grow was the best ever with these quantum boards they are great but usually I prefer 3 to 5 gal.

  10. 5 gallons covers two days worth of feeding for 4 plants. Feed about once a day. So that would be 2.5 gallons for 4 plants with a little run off, once a day wigh 2 gal and a 2" res on bottom. My version has Hydroton on the bottom.

Front left was definitely fried by heat or intensity I'm not sure weird. So I brought in a Girlfriend for Bob but there still getting to know each other. Hopefully it helps I hate fox tailing Colas.

  12. Took a dump on the coco and mixed it in for microbs to eat. I only ate protein for a month. Will see how the taste turns out after chop day.

  17. TY.
Foxtailing is normal sometimes and can be strain dependent but hard to explain and google has pics but i have 4 all same strain and 2 of the 4 in the back have nice rounded colas on top but the two in the front especially left front #4 for my reference has a less rounded top with white hairs. Normally that should reced back around this stage in flowering. Looks like this strain didn't like 82 degrees like my last run.
