    Rookie grower here...
     
    Total noob question as well....
     
    I am growing this plant with RDWC using Canna.
     
    Can anyone tell me what the random spots are on the lower leaves?

    Could be mites or the early stages of calcium deficiency. What type of water are you using?

    Check for mites. About the size of a grain of sand. They don't move much or very fast usually so check with a scope or loupe
