I need to write a short story about a major event, or someones life who was effected by Vietnam. I'm thinking about taking the path of drug abuse in Vietnam. But i really have no plot, or conflict, or story really... I've been thinking hard, and all I've gotten is very roughly one event. So does anyone have some ideas?
I'm no feeling very creative atm but Apocalypse Now would be an amazing source of inspiration and is possibly the best war movie ever. I heartily recommend it.
