I picked up some clones 2 days ago gave each plant a gallon of water and let them drain i think its about time to water again soil starting to dry up a little, my question is when do i stop giving the pant water i feel as if a gallon was too much but the guy at hydroponic store recommended it. The plates filled up with water i had to empty them. Also i have been misting them like twice a day. They are under 500w for 18 hrs a day is this too much. Thank you for your help sorry my questions are all over the place. Heres a picture i just took let me know what you guys recommend also do i need to make my hood air cooled or will i be okay also i have got another fan im putting in today
For watering, I suggest you water till there is a little runoff. Then lift a pot to feel it's weight. Water again when it weighs about half as much. Don't bother misting them. It can cause leaf burn from the lights and doesn't help any. The light and time on are fine. If temps get too high then add a fan to the cool reflector Overall they look fine
