i have never grown weed before, always wanted to. I finnaly got off probation so i finnaly decided to try i have a realy tight budget and was just wondering if i could use a 13 watt (equivilent to a 60 watt) 6500K daylight flourescent light to start growing one plant, and if not how many of them would i need? any help is appreciated thank you for taking the time and reading.
as hollywood was insinuating, the search button is a fantastic resource. but to answer your question, a 13w bulb will get you no where. you'll need about 10 of those to get through a decent veg cycle, at which time you'll need some different bulbs (2700k rating) for flowering. a typical estimate is 100-200 watts of light per plant if you want to take it to harvest.
