help plz :l Broken tree perc :'(

    the 4 arm tree perc on my bong just broke (one of the arms snapped off), was wondering if i should break of the other three, and clear the tube, or keep the other arms and use it normally (would not properly filter, but still would, if you know what i mean). Please leave your opinion on what i should do :l
