i need help i ended up stretching my seed leaf because of my light being too far away from my plant this is my first grow any questions or suggestions will be helpful to making plant better thanks
make sure to have a fan lightly blowing on it, making it move in the wind slightly - this will make your stem stronger.
Just look at how much it is moving, you want a nice gentle breeze. If it looks like it is in a windstorm or could blow over then move the fan away/turn it down a bit.
That's the best suggestion for seedling stretch. Just make sure you don't have it blowing directly on the plant itself if you could position it to where it's just above the plant or hit it with indirect air like pointing it towards the wall and having it circulate the air that way. It'll be ok as long as the stem gets stronger. You can also get a stake or some sort of stick and twisty tie to help support it until it gets stronger Ganja Grow Gardens BuddingPotential
I just put the fan as high as i can put it on the right side of my grow tent the fan is on low setting and the plant moves just a little bit by the air flow is that good
Be careful with the LEDs and seedlings. For some reason, they butter hotter to the plants than other lighting and burn pretty easy if you get the light too close. So...it might be better to hang it a little high and be safe than to risk frying it to prevent a little stretch. When you have one that stretches, just repot and set it deeper in the soil. These things are weeds and will try their hardest to grow under the most horrible of circumstances. The best thing you can do to help yourself out is go to the new grower threads here and read. There are several basics that every grower doing this inside needs to know...what the plant likes, what the plant needs, the best way to do different things, etc. If you already know and understand about the process going in, you're freaked out by everything that happens and you'll finish with a much healthier plant. I've been a gardener all my life and it's not done the same way in a lot of respects, as you deal with normal outdoor gardening. There are several posts in the new grower threads specifically for the new grower and they contain most of this basic info and the more you know beforehand, the easier the whole thing will be. There are lots of moving parts to this, so unless you've got somebody you know who can sort of mentor you through the first round, you need to prepare yourself all you can. People put so much time into figuring out the setup they are going to grow with and often don't think much about the process of growing these plants. Both things work hand in hand to achieve a successful grow. You can have a grow palace but if you don't know "how" to grow the plant, it's not going to do you any good. But good luck. Heck, if I can learn how to do this, anybody can. It just takes a little time to get it all figured out, but the more you grow, the more you know and more sense it makes. LOL Good luck! TWW
That's perfect if you can also make sure it has good support until it gets stronger lesser your chance of it falling over my very first grow I did the same thing but mine all feel over because I didn't support them. Ganja Grow Gardens BuddingPotential
yep all that sounds good, temp/humidity, and just moving a little bit from air flow. As Budding mentioned, you could use a stake but it's best to strengthen the stem with airflow if possible. Once the plant gets stronger, you can increase the air flow and face the fan right on the plant.
You have a pretty nice size lip on the pot. Add more soil and bury the stem, it will grow roots itself in time once it's under the dirt. You now have a shorter plant problem solved. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
I added soil to the pot and water it at 6.5 ph level so the soil that i added is moist now is that good also i saw water coming out of the bottom of. The pot which was one hole on the right side bottom of the pot is that good as well
