well you can develop roots off a auto clipping but it will finish the same time as the plant it was taken from so it won't really have time to develop into another full plant
True in many cases dudenochance but some plants are not true autoflowers and yet behave like one. Like the Iranian Auto for instance . Keep it under 24 hours and you can clone it, and get full size plants. As well, some autos fall more in the category of "semi- auto" than full autos. They can be cloned with success too. I the case of true autos that finish in sixty days, of course not. It takes a while before a plant can be ready for cloning with success and in the case of "full autos" the plant is well into flowering when that time comes. So, that's obvious they can't be cloned. You have to remember that not all so called autos are true auto. Furthermore, not all "autos" are so because of ruderalis genes. Some are relying on an early flowering sativa gene. Most of those can be clones successfully.
