All of my plants very bottom leaves have turned yellow and seem to be shriveling up and falling off of the plants. I am using a 250 watt hps inside my dresser. The light is about a foot away from the plants but gets extremely hot. Is this stress due to the heat?
i`d say as your using a 250w hps and its a foot away from the top of the plants, its more then likely to be just old leaves dieing off, nothing to worry about, unless your plants are like 3in tall and have only 3 nodes. then i could be something else.
yeah man, i run a 250watt hps in my closet space and i do fine. i find myself picking off quite a few shriveled up yellowish green leaves every few days.
