I'm currently running a 400W HPS and would like to upgrade next grow. I was considering a 600W HPS, but I think I'd rather go full-bore 1000W . I figure... a new heftier Fan 150$, New venting & an inline to exhaust out of my house, 100$, Cool-tube 1000W HPS system from HIDHut 400$... and then there's a bit more electrical usage to consider. I only need to cover 4 x 4 foot square space with light... anyway I was wondering, i know there's alot of skeptics with the new LED's, but what about the much larger LED systems? Like this guy... led grow lights -Sunshine Systems : The GrowPanel Pro led grow light Would something like that adequately cover my 4 x 4 foot space and perform as well as or close to a 1000W HPS? I could stomach the cost. Also, with the costs associated with completely replacing my current light system and having to upgrade my ventilation, I was also considering just buying a UFO and throwing it in with the 400W HPS... does anyone think that would produce as good of results as upgrading to a 600W HPS ( both of them combined )? It sure would be easier. Any advice and/or experience is greatly appreciated.
