is ph an instantaneous thing? like if ur running a bubble bucket set-up with 8 buckets, when u add a 9th one does the ph change instantly to the same as the other 8? the reason for this is, i dont under stand if ur running a 8bucket system with a control(res) bucket how ur res could give u accurate ph results of the whole 8 buckets? also if u us ph up/down do u wait a bit or stir it before testing again, or does it instantly spread through the 8 buckets?
With an 8 bucket system with a central control bucket, each bucket is filled with solution that is all connected. Therefor, the ph will be nearly the exact same in each bucket as long as the water is circulating and coming from the same place (res). When you add ph up or down to the res, it takes time to mix in evenly through all of the water in the whole system just as if you added nutrients to the res, it takes time to spread evenly through all of the water.
