Hello forum! Thank you for clicking on my thread. I have come across this instrument and I do not know it's name, so please share you knowledge with me, fellow herbers. I have not used it (yet). I'm a newbie, all I have gathered that it is brass on the outside and the inside of the square piece is iron. Water is to be put inside of it. What could the name of this be? Thanks for reading! Doesnt iron rust? Its a cool antique looking piece but idk if i would put water in it. Maybe just use it dry or for show. Up to you though, not sure of the specific name unfortunately
