New to the world of marijuana and obviously to Grasscity as well. At the age of 29 years old, I only just got high for the first time in my life about 2-3 weeks ago. I did try my one and only bong hit last summer, but all it did was murder my throat. Never ever again. Glad I found edibles!!! I first tried it on a recommendation to cure my insomnia problem, which it sure did, but also discovered that I love the intoxicating effects as well, even more so than alcohol (and I don't get sick like I do with alcohol). I unfortunately can't eat on work nights which sucks because I'm still high the next day and don't want to go to work like that. Hopefully this will pass with time and I will be able to on work nights without the next day high. So anyway, hello from a Seattle weed newbie!
