Outdoor growers, Much has been written and said about Flir (thermal observation) from helicopters and planes. This link should help you understand the capabilities and risks outdoor growing can bring and this is especially true for larger crops. Here is the link: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptKwkk2W-WM"]YouTube - Vineyard Inspection FLIR Video Draganflyer X4 UAV R/C Helicopter[/ame] As you can see, even small water leaks in irrigation systems can be detected! Here is another link that describes a typical Flir Thermal Imaging System in detail: http://www.flir.com/uploadedFiles/CB...u_Brochure.pdf Couple a Flir camera with a GPS or agents that know the territory and that could spell deep trouble! I usually sign, SOGLAD, but there is nothing to be glad about in this information. PS: Yes, I know it's a grape crop, but you get the picture.
I was doing more research and it's interesting to note that these FLIR cameras must be LICENSED by the Department of Commerce or the State Department! YEOWWW! Look at the forms required to purchase a typical FLIR: http://www.corebyindigo.com/files/Documents/dsp83.pdf Also see: Ordering Information Unreal!
Fuck em man. we gtta do what we gtta do. that right there is a waste of money and the reason the US is in debt..
So they can tell if your plants are healthy or not? That's pretty cool... not good if your growing... but pretty cool still.
This time of year the man flys around all the water sources and takes pictures. Then back at the station they have doughnuts & coffee while looking at the photos...they find the big patches and decide whether they can use the bulldozer or not.
This should be a sticky simply because so many people are unaware until they have a black helicopter hovering above their property and see the jump out boys closing in.
