I watch alot of movies lol are the towns actual real american towns? Eg glenview ohio from the watch?

  2. Some towns are definitely real. The Lovely Bones, the novel, was based in Norristown, PA and they subsequently filmed most of it there (that's where I live). Others like Shermer, IL from numerous John Hughes movies do not actually exist. Tons are movies are set and filmed in LA or NYC, though. You know those exist.

  3. Parts of The Walking Dead were filmed in my town

  4. They filmed a bit of war of the worlds in my hometown, right down the street from my house actually. We got to meet Tom cruise and Dakota fanning, it was pretty cool. They were filming for a while but it's not in the movie long. And in the movie I don't remember where they were but the part at the end where they were running under the weird tunnel was filmed in CT

  5. Where you from floater? They totally filmed some of the walking dead where i used to work in newnan,Ga

  6. They filmed some parts of Waynes World in Covina

  7. A few. Tucson AZ.

Goatman is one. Hamlet II was set in Tucson, (and loosely based on my drama teacher, if you can believe it) but filmed in Albuquerque, NM.

And a Documentary I know of called "2 Million Minutes: the 21st Century Solution"

There's also a bunch of westerns filmed there in old Tucson.

  8. Dude, I live in Los Angeles, if a week goes by where I don't see them filming SOMETHING I'm amazed.

I'll say this though, the ultimate for me is that they filmed a scene in the movie "Daredevil" in the bar where I met my wife. Colin Farrell threw darts on MY dart board, well the dart board that I used to throw on anyway

  9. Dazed and Confused :smoke:

  12. Get the fuck outta here!
I'm from the other side of the tracks.

    Ill claim Leatherheads as well.
Even though I'm technically from "da bury"

  13. They filmed Napolean Dynamite like a little over an hour away from my college...

  14. A few good ones actually.

This whole movie was filmed a few blocks from my house in West Edmonton Mall

  15. I'm from Vancouver, there was like hundreds of movies filmed there

    Omega369

  16. Chicago has many many films filmed here.

  17. Amsterdam? I believe so.

  18. i know parts of notorious were filmed in my town, idk about any other movie. dont really care either lol

  19. The movie with Denzel Washington and the trains were filmed right by where I used to live in Northern PA. I heard rumors that he hated the area. Probably cause its so small there. I didn't even go see the movie though.

My town was basically shut down for a while when Silver Linings Playbook was being shot. So many old ladies trying to get a look at Bradley Cooper...
