So like since I was little, whenever I would hear certain words, I would get, like, mental images.. Completely unrelated or completely imagined to the word. Like, in science class when we would talk about like Saturn and stuff, I'd always instantly have the image of gigantic beasts, being pulled around by massive storms, constantly moving, conversing in a crazy language. Like really big.. Like half the size of earth. And it would always be stuff like that. It still happens today all the time.
when I was about 6 the word damn was an anchor in my head. Shit - a ball of orange, kinda like fire. and I think "hell" was a badge of some sort. I can't believe how alike we are as humans. -I know exactly what you mean OP.
