Hey guys just wanted to share this with ya. I made this pipe out of Staghorn Sumac (Rhus typhina) about a month ago. This plant has no relation at all to Poison Sumac and you would have to be reeeeeeeeally high to confuse the two. As part of a class project, our teacher had us make taps for making maple syrup out of this plant/tree. Looking at this hollow straight tube I got the idea to make a pipe. Went down to the bike trail right next to my house and cut up some of it and experimented with a couple different styles and ended with this baby. Took me about 5 sessions to get it charred enough so the wood would stop burning but now it hits so smooth and is wonderful for a toke on the go.
