So about 8 weeks ago I had to move from the east coast of Australia all the way over to the west coast to live with family because I'd lost my house by letting my psycho ex back into my life for the sake of the kids. Baaaaaad move. He lied and told me that he'd filed for an order so that I couldn't leave the state with the kids but I managed to score some plane tickets and after a week at a refuge, threw out everything else that wouldn't fit in the 2 suitcases I was travelling with and got on the plane. Bad relationship, plenty of awful details which I won't go into, but I'm getting harrassing messages every single day. I've filed for mediation so that we can get it legally sorted for me to have all custody, at least until the kids are old enough to fly over on a plane. But I don't think that flies with him, either. Just the shitty situation that I am in.
You did the right thing getting your children out of that environment. I hope and pray everything works out and you can get on with your life.
