So this is the first time ive been in this section of the forumns, and i saw just a bunch of "craziest experience right now!" things and was soo funny... IM HIGH but we will persist. so im watchin this movie the descendants, (idk why i watched it its kinda gay), and i watched 3/4 the movie sober, and then i went and smoked and with 10 minutes left in the movie, i just paused it and decided that it was the artsiest movie of all time. like zooming in on pictures of people, and then showing the wind blow leaves across the landscape, like its unbelievable. Has anyone else been watching a movie high and just realized something crazy about it?
I watch a lot of movies intact I even review them, and I always smoke before the film. It allows me to leave my reality and focus on the movie and truly understand it. It makes me pay attention to detail like no other. I catch everything, wether it was meant to be seen like small things directors add into the film, or errors in production. A lot of times it ruins movies for me, makes me realize how corny they really are
haha exactly! like right now im thinking about how ridiculous some scenes would be to film, because theres just like scenes with music in the background, yet when filming there would be no music so theyd be like just chillin on a boat looking at water silently
Yeah, but only when im watching porn. A girl swallows a guys jizz and I think its really hot, but then I start thinking and realize that shit gross.
yeah i was watching House one time, and I noticed like all the details of acting. like, this guy was having a discussion, and he said something to somebody, then looked at the guy next to him for reassurance. I could just picture the director putting emphasis on that... it's hard to explain, but it made sense to me. like i just notice their expressions and body language and implications of speech and minor details like that.
I look at movies and shows so differently when I smoke first. It's hard to describe.. it's like I see more of a spacial difference between the characters and the set, like I realize the sets aren't real. I realize how so much that I watch is "very soap opera". I could say it ruins the show but it more makes me feel superior to the makers of it like "ha, I know what's real and what's special effects.. Good try."
Yeah when I'm watching movies or tv shows high I really focus on their acting. I notice every little detail. When I'm watching cartoons high I swear I notice alot of subliminal messaging.
When I smoke before watching movies I notice the same things you do, and I agree that it has ruined a lot of movies.
When im sober i don't usually notice bad actors, or the cool film techniques used in some movies. When i watch movies high i have a new appreciation of acting skills and film techniques , pretty cool.
When I'm high and watch movies it sucks because I can tell they are acting and the harsh reality of them acting hits me hard and makes me realize that there is no point to watching. I start thinking about where the cameras are and how they are positioned and wondering what the camera men are doing at that moment. It's funny as well.
watch the movie Dazed and Confused, and realize that the movie is truth, that shit really happened liked that. the first time i watched it i was baked one night and my mom was just starting the movie so i watched it and after she showed me pics and told stories about when she was in high school the same year as the movie, and how right on it was. watched it again and i was wishin that it could be that chill nowdays lol
when i watch while baked i seem to realize how fake the everything looks (like avatar), but when i watch seinfeld i think it was written by some super genious or something, i mean it's great sober but bein baked takes it to the hnl
