H2o2

  1. Hi all I'm having a root rot issue that I have somewhat tamed but I want to keep it that way. I bought some 17% h2o2 and I'm not sure how much I should add per gallon. Anyone have any suggestions?

  2. It works out to 6 tsp. per 10 gallon. OR .6 tsp. per gallon.
I guess some people say too much can hurt....BUT I have put maybe 8 to 10 tsp. in 10 gal.
I have been putting 1 tsp. in my 3 gal.clone bubble bucket every 10 days or so, also.
DONT GET IT ON YOUR SKIN!! Burns like a mofo!
It works.... no rot, no mold, no algae in res.!!

  3. Thanks so that would be 3mls per gallon right?

  4. DUde.. hang on.
The mixture I gave you is for the 29% H202!!
    sorry.
So I'm pretty sure you double that for the 17%.
    Went and read my bottle...duh.

  5. I fried the shit out of mine once by mixing up tbs and tbsp. I can at least laugh about it now.

  6. Yes. TEA SPOONS. haha

  7. So 1 tsp=5 mls, 12mls h2o2 per 10 gallons that would be 6mls h2o2 per gallon right?

  8. lol you are still mixing them up because it is tsp and tbsp.

Here this is a good guide I use.
CannaStats - H2O2 Uses and Dilutions

Here is a foliage app rate.
Gardening with hydrogen peroxide - Mixing Charts

There are many different application rates out there but what I have learned from experience is more is not better especially with h2o2 you will fry your roots in seconds.

  9. Doesn't 1 tsp = 5mls? And 1 tbsp = 15mls right?

  10. Yes, this is correct.
