  1. So this Gurka was sent with his unit to capture this Taliban 'warlord', they killed him in a firefight and instead of lugging his body back as proof, he chopped off his head...
What do you guys think of this, to me, it's war, what do you expect? The Taliban chop heads off on the internet so why can't Gurkas do the same on the battlefield, and this served a practical purpose. But the soldier has been withdrawn and is probably gonna get disciplined. Bullshit, here's the article:
As a Gurkha is disciplined for beheading a Taliban: Thank God they are on our side! | Mail Online
    Quote from the article:

"Just picture the scene as a soldier returns from hunting an arch-enemy. Commanding officer: 'Did you get him?' Soldier: 'Yes, sir.' Commanding officer: 'Are you sure?' Soldier: 'Yes, sir.' Soldier reaches into rucksack and places severed head on table.
Commanding officer: ' ****!' If it happened in a Hollywood movie, the audience would either laugh or applaud. But there was no laughter the other day when this happened for real in Babaji, Afghanistan, current posting for the 1st Battalion, Royal Gurkha Rifles."
