  1. Hey all and welcome to my second attempt at an outdoor run. My first grow in 2018 was cut short at week for of bloom when someone stole my only plant. A sour dubble also from good quality dispensary nugs. media_5c6b075fd136f3.62581347_2caceecf5c3fa40cd3108814182081e0ccdaf82e1b84ddeb976a230f44e79e83.jpg media_5c6b07373aa679.22242542_8cfc0f1421ca0b0724f8764f11273bbf69dac05bfe0f1c527d483007f242a77d.jpg media_5c6b06f73379d0.20641185_6f4e1ab658c993cfd93bd73c00f2a86735e36d9d08e7f24e4b9d2a62851ccc52.jpg anyway that was last year and since then I've moved out of the city in the back country as I call it lol. Plenty of woods and barely any people for miles. Here is what I started feb 2nd along with a platinum og that was started late and is now at day 18(4th pic)

About 1 cup each of bat Guano nitro, (also roots organic) and bone meal mixed in each container. Started off with 2.5 gal containers and drainage looks to be spot on. Here's my bottled nutes along with some Oregonism XL which I highly recommend

Temps have been consistent at 72f day, and between 65 to 68 night. RH between 54 to 61%
Things were a little crazy at first but with alot of help from @Framia, @Patricia Clemons and @Gelato41 here I am! My plan is to transfer to 45 gal fiber pots and move to the great outdoors as soon as they are ready. Gonna experiment with some lst for maximum output. Any suggestions or questions are more than welcome! Thanks everyone and happy growing!

  4. Thanks JKill! Anything I should add to my list? And are cages a must for latge size plants or pure preference?

  5. Subbed! Look at all those pretty pictures!

  6. these are my outdoor plants from 4 or 5 years back. I used Promix all purpose, and once or twice fed some Bio Root and Bio thrive. again they got ripped maybe just a couple weeks into flower so I can't speak on quality/ I'm sure someone can give you much better advice on an outdoor grow than I can. this was my one and only attempt at an Outdoor grow and I never got to see the results unfortunately. Also I was only able to visit the plants 4 or 5 times the entire summer so watching over them/trimming wasn't really an option. i wrapped the plants with wire to keep the deer out while they were growing/small(only about 6"-8" when they got transplanted outside)

  7. Looking great, thanks for the mention. You are on the East coast, correct? You will need to watch out for the extreme humidity if you plan on growing huge plants. This could cause major powdery mildew and rot issues

  8. It appears as though your off to a great start! How fun

  9. Yea the weather in my area is never consistent in the spring/ early summer months. Last year was very humid and after some good reading and advice I think I had a bit on my first one. Glad I got paranoid and cut it out. Relieved that I'll have some guidance with all this. My goal isn't large plants, although I understand the potential outcome if done properly. How noticable are those wired cages from high up? I might see if I can get away with short wide plants supported with stakes and wire versus cages and nets. Idk what do you think?

  10. So far anyway! I think I wanna keep these tied down for awhile once they get bigger. Will you use pipe cleaners again in a future grow or will you switch to traditional garden ties? Just wondering what would be easier on young stems/branches. Thx.

  11. Yeah that's the problem with outdoors and if you started them 3 weeks ago they WILL be HUGE. I want to grow a beast and I plan on doing just that but I will be choosing the most mold resistant strain I have and will need to cover it and protect it come the September, October rains.

  12. What strain is that exactly?

  13. Northern lights or many indica Dom strains because they finish earliest. My ideal harvest time is late September because once October comes then nights are cool and damp and is a recipe for powdery mildew and mold. Some good preventative maintenance like neem in veg is key for that as well.

  14. That's the stuff that makes your leaves look all shiny right? I always thought it was something you had to continuously use it. So it builds some resistance over time?

  15. Not really shiny but yes spray every 2 weeks during veg to ward off many bad insects and moulds

  16. these green ties i have are a bit large for a very small plant, but i do like them better and feel as though they are less damaging when used correctly.

I’m sure I’ll use both on my next grow, may see if i can get the green tie things to work on the youngins but pipe cleaners are real easy and fast as well

The store near me had very thin green ties i thought would be to sharp, and some that were way thick! Luckily a different hydro shop in town sold these current ones I’m using. They’re perfect comparitvly

  17. Should I be thinking of putting together my own soil mix for the outdoor set up or will it be cheaper to just stick with roots organic soil, getting the 3 cubic ft blocks. Other than the price which really isn't an issue. Which do you all think will produce the best results?

  18. Omg! I can’t believe someone stole ur weed!! That sucks. Your girls are looking great! I’m growing one plant in my backyard. She’s in my garden hanging with my tomatoes. Right now she’s getting heavily rained on. Just over three weeks so hopefully she can handle it.

  19. Yea live and learn you know. What strain, and how long has she been getting steady rain? Not the expert but that doesn't sound good.

  20. Tangerine Dream Auto. It started raining about 3’ish and hasn’t stopped. It’s supposed to rain all day tomorrow. Then sunny. I only did a light watering yesterday after gether first nutes. She’s in a fabric pot so hopefully she’ll be okay. I think I might put another fabric pot upside down over her. Maybe that will help?
