I've already germinated some seeds. I like to use the moon as a guide throughout the grow. I tucked 6 seeds in to some substrate for seeds / young plants mixed with a few handfulls of canna bio plus and a sprinkle of bat guano. 3 of the seeds are in 9ltr pots and 3 are in 14ltr pots. These are autoflowering seeds. Critical Diesel Auto, Auto Purple, Auto Black JH. 2 of each strain. 1 in each size pot. These are Original Sensible Seeds. Grew their Auto Skunk last year. Easy grow. Nice smoke. I'm hoping these will be done by the end of June. I'll be putting some fems in around May. Blueberry OG, Pineapple Chunk, Pineapple Slick, Black Destroyer, Chronic Lights, Black Gum. These should be done by the end of October. I'll update with photos as and when.
UPDATE: The 6 seeds were germinated a day late on March 22nd. They were tucked into soil in their pots and 5 of the 6 sprouts broke ground between March 29th & 31st. The last of the sprouts to break ground was the Auto Black JH in the 14ltr pot which broke ground on April 3rd. The final Auto Black JH had trouble seperating the oval leaves after not completly shedding the seed. Cool man, I hear awesome things about Spain.. can't speak Spanish though lol (even tho Im hispanic) no slugs or other pests there?
UPDATE: Took these photos last week. Auto Purple Auto Purple Critical Diesel Auto Critical Diesel Auto They are suffering from being eaten by bugs at the moment. The Alpujarras are close by. Pyramid seeds have a strain called Alpujareña. I've started treating with neem and will hopefully get rid of the pests soon as flowering has started. More photos next time.
Then it's probably straight hemp, ha. I lived with Juan el Cañamero/ Ecologista and I'm sure his male hemp plants have pollinated all of the Alpujarra.
UPDATE: The Neem oil extract has controled the bugs and pests and now activity is down to a minimum. My dog also had a go a trimming a few of the plants as well so all things considered, its going ok. Auto Purple 1 Auto Purple 1 http://originalsensiblecannabisseeds.co.uk/auto_purple_seeds.html Critical Diesel Auto 1 Critical Diesel 2 http://originalsensiblecannabisseeds.co.uk/critical_diesel_seeds.html My dog even topped Auto Purple 2!! The Auto Black JH's are also doing ok now after a slow start. I germinated some more seeds on the 17th of April and all 3 came up by the 21st; 1 x Auto JH from Original Sensible Seeds, 1 x NL x BB Auto and 1 x Sugar Mango Ryder from World of Seeds. These are all doing well. I have also germinated 6 x feminized seeds on the 15th of May and they are all up now as well. 1 x Blueberry OG, 1 x Pineapple Slick, 1 x Chronic Lights, 1 x Black Gum, 1 x Black Destroyer from Original Sensible Seeds and 1 x Pineapple Chunk from Barney's Farm. I'll update with more photos as and when. Peace
I like the look of that Critical Diesel Auto 1, pretty chunky. You have some very nice purple buds, too. I didn't know dogs liked those plants, I've had trouble keeping kitties from pooping in my pots whenever I had them there. There were a lot of cats running around the Mecina Fondales area.
UPDATE: The Auto Purple1 & Critical Diesel1 are almost ready from the looks of the trichomes. I'll take another look tonight but I don't think they'll take another couple weeks. We'll see. Auto Purple1 Auto Purple2 http://originalsensiblecannabisseeds.co.uk/auto_purple_seeds.html Sugar Mango Ryder, Northern Lights x Big Bud Auto & Auto JH http://originalsensiblecannabisseeds.co.uk/auto_jh_seeds.html The NL x BB Auto is being still being offered as a free seed on Original Sensible Seed Company: http://original-ssc.com/free-cannabis-seeds I grew some of these last year and they have been the best yielding auto strain I've grown so far. I'll update with more photos as and when Peace
Great grow, can't believe your dog topped your plant lol. What region are you from? I am growing in Alicante region. Sent from my HTC One using Grasscity Forum mobile app
UPDATE: @[member="Yabasis"] - Almeria region One of the Auto Purple & a Critical Diesel Auto look almost ready and had a lot of yellow / dead leaves. I have flushed these and given them a trim. Auto Purple http://originalsensiblecannabisseeds.co.uk/auto_purple_seeds.html Critical Diesel Auto http://originalsensiblecannabisseeds.co.uk/critical_diesel_seeds.html Both the Auto Black JH are filling out and should be ready by the end of the month. Auto Black JH http://originalsensiblecannabisseeds.co.uk/auto_black_jh_seeds.html Outdoor Autos The seeds that I germinated on the 15th of May are about 2 weeks old. I've transplanted a few of them and I've transplanted the NL x BB Auto and the Sugar Mango Ryder. Sugar Mango Ryder & NL x BB Auto transplanted in to 11 / 12 L Smart Pots The next favorable date for harvesting is the 17th / 18th of June but I'll keep an eye on the trich. At the moment they are mostly cloudy with some amber. I'll update with more photos as and when. Peace
Plants are looking great! Doesn't look like a bad yield for an Auto Outdoors. Will you be posting your yield weight? Oh nice I was down in Mojacar over the weekend was great, especially the mountain drives around Cabaneras! Sent from my HTC One using Grasscity Forum mobile app
UPDATE: The 6 feminized seeds I planted have grown a bit. I have not added any additional feed to these. They are in CannaBio Plus Soil. I will transplant the rest of these tonight. http://original-ssc.com/original-sensible-seeds.html Original Sensible Seeds & Barneys Farm Back left: Pineapple Chunk | Barneys Farm Back Right: Pineapple Slick | Original Sensible Seeds Front left: Blueberry OG | Original Sensible Seeds Front middle left: Black Destroyer | Original Sensible Seeds Front middle right: Black Gum | Original Sensible Seeds Front middle right: Chronic Lights | Original Sensible Seeds I will harvest 1 Auto Purple and 1 Critical Diesel Auto from Original Sensible Seeds tonight http://original-ssc.com/auto-purple-original-sensible.html Auto Purple | Original Sensible Seeds The trichomes were mostly cloudy with a lot of amber when I checked though the scope on both plants. There were also a number of trichomes with pinky / purple stems on the Auto Purple that you can see in the photo. Even though I did not add any additional feed to these two plants, I flushed them on May 31st with lukewarm water until the water ran clear and have not given them a drop since. I have never left my plants to go so dry before. I usually flush 10 days before harvest and then water no more but I am experimenting to see if it will make a difference to drying time. The Sugar Mango Ryder & Northern Lights x Big Bud Auto from World of Seeds are enjoying their transplant to the Smart Pots. http://original-ssc.com/world-of-seeds-autoflowering-collection-sugar-mango-ryder.html Sugar Mango Ryder | World of Seeds http://original-ssc.com/northern-light-x-big-bud-autoflowering-world-of-seeds.html Northern Lights x Big Bud Auto | World of Seeds The Auto JH is doing well considering her root space. http://original-ssc.com/auto-jh-original-sensible.html Auto JH | Original Sensible Seeds The remaining 4 autos will get the chop June 27th / 28th The only pests that are apparent at the moment are a type of white fly / small moth / flying teeth! and although they stick to the trichomes they do not seem to cause any harm to the plants. They look unsightly is all and will just need picking off come harvest time. The same with any hairs etc. When growing outdoors you have to go with the flow. If a pest lands on your resinous buds, chances are it will stay there! I will get some more photos tonight to include the first harvest of the season and update as and when. Peace.
UPDATE: I harvested 1 x Critical Diesel Auto, 1 x Auto Purple and 2 x Auto Black JH on June 27th. Critical Diesel Auto | Original Sensible Seeds (before harvest) http://original-ssc.com/critical-diesel-auto-original-sensible.html I have transplanted the fems that hadn't been transplanted to their final pots yet and they are doing well. I guess I'll have to top them soon to aim for 5.5 foot. The later autos are doing well and should be ready for harvest July 15th / 16th. NL x BB Auto | World of Seeds http://original-ssc.com/northern-light-x-big-bud-autoflowering-world-of-seeds.html Sugar Mango Ryder | World of Seeds http://original-ssc.com/world-of-seeds-autoflowering-collection-sugar-mango-ryder.html Auto JH | Original Sensible Seeds http://original-ssc.com/auto-jh-original-sensible.html I have also germinated 2 x Dinamex Auto seeds from Dinafem Seeds. I grew the photoperiod version last season and I enjoyed it a lot, so hence the choice. We'll see how it compares. OK more photos and updates as and when. Peace
UPDATE: I've had some trouble keeping this journal up to date due to internet access for photo uploads. OK. The Auto JH from Original Sensible Seeds was harvested on July 15th. Easy to trim as there were not many leaves. http://original-ssc.com/auto-jh-original-sensible.html I chopped the Sugar Mango Ryder & Northern Lights x Big Bud Auto on July 16th. The sugar mango was quite a mission to trim as there were a lot of leaves. The NL x BB is deffinitely the bigger yielder. Easier to trim as well as there were not many leaves to trim. http://original-ssc.com/northern-light-x-big-bud-autoflowering-world-of-seeds.html All of the feminized seeds were potted up to their final pots. Photos when I can of those. I've also germinated an Auto Destroyer Seed from Original Sensible to go with my 2 x Dinamex from Dinafem. http://original-ssc.com/auto-destroyer-seeds-original-sensible-seeds.html http://original-ssc.com/dinamex-auto-seeds-dinafem-seeds.html OK more photos and updates as and when and I'll leave you with another Critical Diesel Auto photo from Original Sensible Seeds - close to harvest. Peace
