What's better growing hydroponic or soil. If soil/hydroponics is better what brands should I use? Thanks for help

Soil is definitely going to be much easier outdoors, you can run an organic mix that consists of peat moss compost perlite and a few other amendments(oyster shell, ewc, bone blood etc). Or just buy some soil, fox farm is great, pro mix, black gold you have to find what's right for you. When it comes to hydro outdoors, I think most people run a coco mix, I'm not familiar with it but it seems to work great. Other types of hydro like DWC etc may run you a few problems like temps, pests, etc. If you need more in depth info, there are plenty of threads to find exactly what you're looking for.
