Growing clones in pure earthworm castings

  1. Hello, I am trying someting new with my clones. I have 6 plants in 10 gallon pots of foxfarm soil. Three of themhave central "cores" of earthworm castings about 3 gallons worth each. I figured the clones need more moisture than mature plants and earthworm castings are great for holding on too water and they don't have too much nitrogen either. After 1 month, the side with the earthworm casting "cores" are nearly twice the size as their counterparts.. A 20 pound bag of earthworm castings cost me $40 so I don't think that it was too terribly costly.

    ANY THOUGHTS?
