reef tank users have been using them for a while now and reef tanks require similar spectrum lighting to growing plants. In addition, it simply puts standard sunlight inside your house with only maximum of 30 percent sunlight lost. As long as the sun is out, your house can be lit with full spectrum sunlight, best light for plants. too bad it's extremely expensive, but I figure if anyone is building a house and plan on a grow. simply have one of the rooms lit this way and you're set.
