I'm starting my own growbox that I plant to design out of a dresser. I want it to look like an ordinary dresser. I'm going to take the bottom off of each shelf making the inside hollow. I hope to grow 3 3' plants inside. Diagram... I was wondering what wattage HPS light would be suffecient for this. Also do you think the miniature box fan on the side of the dresser, and the two computer fans on the top will be sufficient for airflow/cooling?
The cooling all depends on how big of a light your planning to use, If you get a 150w HPS that might be cool enough but I doubt it would work for a 250w or 400w. Im assuming the box fans are more powerful then the computer fans, but you should definatly put the more powerful fans on exhaust. If you have powerful enough fans you wont even need intake fans.
