Best is if the exhaust doesn't mix with the intake. The exhaust will have slightly less co2 than regular air, and over time this could cause some co2 depletion in the intake room. That could slow growth a bit. Your breath will replenish co2, which could cancel this out, if you breathe near the plants several hours a day. Fresh air leaking into your house also replenishes co2.
There exist window inserts and ducting that can be used to vent tents outside, but it might be overkill.
I bought a piece of 3/4” x 6” pvc plank from Home Depot and a dryer vent. Cut the PVC length to match my window width then mounted the dryer vent and put some weather strip around it and placed it in the window opening, closed the window down to it and boom venting outside.
