So i have a couple quick questions. I started building a hydro system and was wondering what wattage of light and how many of them i would need for 6 five gallon buckets?
6 five gallon buckets are going to take up a 3 x 2 area even if they are sat touching each other. Your going to want a minimum of 400w, but 600w would be more adequate and provide better yield.
600w, with a dim function. 600w might be a little over kill though. dim it down to about the middle setting. 100W per square foot might bleach a little.
A 600 watt will be more than adequate for those if you can get them in a 4x4 foot space. That's what I would go for. Beginning 3rd grow(Apprentice) - BC Big Bud
