I'm trying to construct a grow box, but I have no ideas. I'm thinking of just building a box out of plywood, and putting some HIDs in it on some timers. I would just water by hand. Will this work fine? Any suggestions, or set-ups from people who've built one before?
That will work fine, it's what I did. In hindsight I think I would have been better off buying a prefab cabinet from a place like Walmart or Home Depot, HD used to carry one from a company called Mill's Pride that could be converted to a grow box easily. Those prefabs look like furniture so blend in better, a big plywood box can look a little weird/suspicious.
