Grow Box Fan

  1. Never thought of doing this really. Though I have no doubt the fan would e reliable, isn't it ironic that many PS3s have issues with overheating? Which produces more heat? Your grow or a PS3?

My point is I worry it won't be a strong enough fan to compete with the heat coming from anything other than LEDs.

  2. The description says 100 cubic meter capacity. Does this mean it moves 100 cubic meters per minute? That's a lot for a cheap fan. Most little 4" fans I've seen are about 100 cfm. That would make this fan about 27x more powerful. I doubt that...

  3. I have literally no idea, but it will move a lot less than a 4" rvk fan. it's a cheap quiet fan, I don't think it will handle large grows. I use one on my 4' x 1.5' x 4' box with 250watts of cfls and it does a fair job at keeping the temps down. it's sucking through a carbon filter and blowing through a metre of ducting

so at a guess maybe it mean 100cubic metres per hour?

  4. I'd bet so.
