I'm a big fan of everything they did before 1970. You should check out the movie Festival Express. It's a documentary with actual footage of a festival train that ran across Canada in 1970 with The Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, The Band, The Flying Burrito Brothers, and some others. Great footage, great music. I rented it on a netflix suggestion and loved it.
